A Little Bit About Me:
High School: Booker T. Washington High School, Pensacola, FL (Go Booker T. Wildcats!)
Undergraduate: Maryville College, Presidential Scholar (2 years)
B.A. in English: University of Illinois at Springfield
M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction: Lincoln Memorial University
I teach freshman and sophomore English and I'm also the yearbook advisor for the Journalism class. I've been at Sweetwater High School since 2013, and I've taught all grade levels. I'm not from Sweetwater, but I wouldn't want to teach anywhere else - despite being the mom of two Sequoyah High School graduates!
I live at the northern end of Monroe County on a farm with my husband and younger daughter, who works as a veterinary technician.
