After graduating from high school I attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.  While attending the University of Tennessee, I was a member of the  Volunteer Diamond Girls. aka  " Bat Girls  "Vol For Life!"

I also obtained my real estate license and began working in real estate as well as teaching. My current broker is McDonald Realty in South Knoxville.

I have been employed as an educator off and on in Knox and Union Counties. My last teaching position before being employed at Sweetwater High School was at Farragut Intermediate school. My experience has been to teach students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. It is my privilege to teach at Sweetwater High School as teenagers are my favorite age group to teach.

I enjoy traveling and have been to France, United Kingdom, Italy, Ireland, Jamacia, Mexico and Canada.
In the spring of 2015, I was able to purchase the family farm in Tellico Plains where my family lived previously. Since then, I have been renovating the 100 year old farm house.  I currently share the farm with 4 horses and hound dog.
