Tickets are now on sale in the library for the 2025 SHS Fall Homecoming Dance! The theme is Once Upon a HOCO (a.k.a. Homecoming), and the Dance will be held in The Den at SHS on September 27th, 2025 from 7pm to 10pm. Tickets are $20 in the Library until September 26th, and will go up to $25 at the door.
You can request songs by completing the form when you pay for your tickets, or you can see Mrs. Day in room 618.

What about Dress Code?
The homecoming dance is a semi-formal event and a special night for Sweetwater High School students. We hope to maintain the integrity and formality of this night by implementing these simple dress code; therefore, any students not appropriately dressed will be turned away at the door. If you have questions concerning your dress, it is your responsibility to seek prior approval from the administration or Student Council Representatives: Mr. Jones or Mrs. Day.
What does feminine semi-formal attire look like?
- Dresses are not to be shorter than mid-thigh
- Not permitted: slits higher than mid-thigh, keyholes, or peek-a-boo openings
- Backless dresses are permitted as long as the back does not dip below the natural waistline
- A modest amount of skin can be exposed in the midriff area
- Undergarments should not be visible at any time
What does masculine semi-formal attire look like?
- Ties, dress slacks (khakis), and dress shoes are suggested
- No ball caps or shorts should be worn
