In order to ensure that all students are prepared for the first day of school with the tools they need, MCS technology and Sweetwater High School staff will roll out Chromebooks on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. We will be in the SHS Cafeteria from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm so parents/guardians and student can come before or after work. Here is what you need to know:
1. Payments: pay Technology fees ($35 - insurance & maintenance) and outstanding fees online or in person
a. Online: All fees can be paid using the MyPaymentsPlus platform (the same platform used for MCS and Sweetwater City Schools Cafeteria lunch fees and transactions. You can sign in, or register an account here. note: If your child was at SJH last year, you will need to create a new account using their MCS student ID number and email (click here to complete the request form to get that number).
b. In Person: Like in previous years, you can pay your fees using cash or a check (please make checks payable to Monroe County Schools).
2. Chromebook Agreement Form (CAF): can be completed and signed online or in person
a. Online: Parents can click here to sign the Chromebook Agreement Form online. (note: you will need to know your child's student ID# to complete this form. You can get that information here.)
b. In Person: If you wait to sign the CAF in person, both Parents/Guardians and students must be present and sign the form in order to get a Chromebook.

All fees MUST be paid and the Chromebook Agreement Form MUST be filled out and signed before we can give parents/guardians and/or students a Chromebook.
