Attention SHS Parents and Students: This is an important announcement regarding returning to school in a couple of weeks!
Monroe County schools will have two options for students returning back to school this fall. The first option will be regular, in-person school that will begin on August 7th. The second option is a Monroe County virtual platform that will begin in September. If you do not feel comfortable sending your child back to school in-person, this option is available and more information about registering will go out on July 27th. If you choose to register your child for the Monroe County virtual platform, then your child should not report to school the first two weeks of school. More guidance will be release for this closer to the start of school. We want both students and parents to feel safe returning to school and our thoughts are with each of you as you make this decision.
