I hope this e-mail finds you and your family doing well. Its has been nice to have talked with some of you or your parents. So far it seems everyone is doing good. I hope it stays that way.
 
Week 6 Assignment:

-Once you have located the website click onCOVID-19 CORONAVIRUS (IT IS 
 SMALL AND PINK)
-Scroll down to(way down) to SCIENCE GRADES 9-12 and click on it.
-Locate the PHYSICAL SCIENCE PROGRAM and click on it.
-Locate and click on READING AND STUDY GUIDE WORKBOOK.
-Go to FORCES AND MOTION and click on it.
 
Now that you have done the hard part by finding the assignment - do two things:
 
1.) Read - Sec. 12.3 Newtons 3rd Law of Motion and Momentum.
               - Sec. 12.4 Universal Forces
 
2.) -Do Worksheet 12.3 Newtons 3rd Law of Motion and Momentum -   answer
       e-mail me #s 2,3,4,5,6,8,12,14.
     -Do Worksheet 12.4 Universal Forces - answer and e-mail me #s

-Click on COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS tab (small and pink)
- Scroll down(way down) and click on SCIENCE 9-12.
-Click on the PHYSICAL SCIENCE PROGAM.
-Locate PHYSICAL SCIENCE - CONCEPTS IN ACTION and click.
-Find READING AND STUDY GUIDE WORKBOOK.
 
Now that you have done the hard part - click on FORCES AND MOTION.
 
Do two things:
 1.) Read: - Section 12.1 Forces
                 - Section 12.2 Newtion's 1st and 2nd Laws of Motion.
 
 2.) Do worksheet 12.1 Forces - answer and e-mail me #s 1,2,5,7,8,9,13,16.
 
      Do worksheet 12.2 Newtons 1st & 2nd Laws of Motion - answer and e-mail 
      me #s 1,2,3,4,6,8,9,10,15.

Week 4 assignment:
 
 - Google mypersontraining.com.
 - Once you locate the web-site - click on COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS
   (IT IS SMALL AND PINK)
 -Scroll down(way down) to SCIENCE GRADE 9-12 and click on tab.
 -Locate the PHYSICAL SCIENCE PROGRAM and click on tab.
 -Locate and click on READING AND STUDY GUIDE WORKBOOK.
 -Go to the 1st subject MOTION and click.
 
Now that you have done the hard part by finding the assignment - do three things:
 
1.Read Sec 11.3 Acceleration and review Sec 11.1 and 11.2.
 
2.Go Section 11.3 Acceleration worksheet:
   E-mail me the answers to #'s 1,4,8,9.    
      EX. 1.) acceleration 4.) F and so on.
3.Go to WordWise Section of worksheet and E-mail me the answers to the 12
    blanks.
     EX. 1.) acceleration  2.) vector  3.) speed  and so on.

    - Locate the Physical Science program and click on tab.
    - Locate and click on Reading and Study Guide Workbook.
    - Go to the 1st subject    Motion  and click
 
Now that you have done the hard part by finding the assignment  -  do two things: 
1. Read - Sec. 11.1 Distance and Displacement
                Sec. 11. 2 Speed and Velocity
 
2. E-mail me the answers to Sec. 11.1 worksheet (ONLY DO # 2,5,7,10,12,16)
      EX. Answer- 2. F / 5. D  and so on.
    E-mail me the answers to Sec. 11.2 worksheet (ONLY DO # 2,4,13,16)
 
Do just the reading and e-mail me the answers to the ten question and that all you need to do for the week. E-mail me if you have any questions. Stay safe.

Physical Science - 9th Grade

WEEK  1-Students should become familiar with components of the Periodic 
                Table.
  EX.1.Students should be able to locate Atomic Number/Atomic Mass Number/
          Group/Period/Symbols for 25 elements for which the student may 
          choose.
        2. Determine if elements are metals/nonmetals.
 
-Go to Periodic Table - Wikipedia for help.
 
 
 
WEEK 2- Student should pick one element off the Periodic Table and write a
                one page report on that element. Report will be due when we return
                to school.
  EX.1- Report should include the elements Atomic Number/Mass Number
           Group/Period/Symbol. Tell the state of the element(solid/liquid/gas).
           Tell if the element is a metal or nonmetal.
  EX.2-Tell who discovered the element. Tell how and when the element was
           discovered. List things that make the element unique. Include what the
           element is used for. Tell how the element is used in your life.
 
Let me end by saying I hope you and your family are doing well during this unique time. You may not think this is possible but I miss seeing you and I hope
to see you soon. Be kind to each other and we will get past this.
